Soundwalk – Music in four historical fountains

We will walk to four historic fountain sites on this impressive cemetery not far from the stave church. All those interested are invited to stroll along beautiful paths, through groves, and past special grave monuments, pausing at four of the cemetery’s enchanted fountains to listen, linger, return, or move on. In this way, the fountains become what they once were: places of encounter.

At each fountain, captivating mini-concerts will take place at four different times, featuring mainly contemporary music performed by duos, each lasting around 15 to 20 minutes. To conclude, the Kairos Quartett will perform Lichtung (2011/12) by Carola Bauckholt.

Join us as the duos and the quartet present their favorite pieces and bring the surroundings to life with sound. In a relaxed atmosphere, we’ll engage in conversation with members of the ausKlang association and the Südwestkirchhof support association, with the musicians and their companions, and with each other.
